Job Description

    • Handle Litigation matters including but not limited to Civil. Criminal, Consumer, Company, Constitutional matters and Arbitration / Alternate Dispute Resolution pertaining to Education, Property, Licenses, Non- Payment of Fees, Recovery of Money, Breach of Contracts & Specific Performance, Challenging validity of Statutory & Regulatory provisions etc before all Courts, Fora, Tribunal and Statutory/Regulatory Authorities.
    • Liaison, meeting with various external Agencies, Law Firms/Lawyers/Solicitors, Counsel, Consultants ( including their appointment ), Statutory & Regulatory Authorities / Departments, on various ongoing and prospective litigations. To follow up and seek regular updates on the ongoing litigation which are filed by and/or against the legal
      •  entities in the group. Maintenance/Circulation of MIS to all stake holders on initiation of


    •  cases by or against the organization.
      • Drafting / Vetting of Pleadings,


    •  Notices and Replies, Effectively Attending Courts / Tribunals / Fora / Police Stations / CBI / Vigilance / Statutory & Regulatory Authorities to represent the Legal
    •  Entities of the Group / Organisation and/or its sister concerns, Monitoring the

legal proceedings till logical conclusion.

Desired Candidate Profile

    • Proven research skills, Strong interpersonal skills, Comfortable with Liaison work, Strong Communication Skills, Good Presentation Skills (Soft skill) to be able to proficiently articulate the points of discussion, excellent analytical skills, ability to make recommendations, notes based on information gathered and sound judgment.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a high growth and dynamic business environment and take wing to wing ownership of entrustments.
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity, understand business requirements and translate those into efforts.
    • High focus on outcomes and ability to stand up to committed deliverables.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and presentation skills and ability to proactively drive consensus in decision making, especially in conflicting situations.
    • In addition to English & Hindi, somebody who can read, write and speak in Marathi too shall be preferred
